Sights Around Town
November 7th, 2005 by MikeLast Saturday, we hiked up to a nearby attraction, Torre Torre. These are formations like at Bryce Canyon. The hike was very tough since we are at 10,000 feet already!
Sunday, we went to church with our host family. They are methodists and we could hardly understand a word because of the poor sound system. After church, we walked to the sunday market, which was HUGE. We only saw about half of the stands before getting tired of walking.
Here is a picture of the city center. Sorry about the foreground, but its part of the environment! (We didnt get the rabies vaccination so we are always on alert around the dogs. ) This place is always bustling with people.

HI Mike & Alicia,
Since it is a big city maybe spend a little money buying a gift for the host family a new bed, that they get when you leave. Comfort is important.
Hope you have good shoes, maybe gets some bikes? Miss you…. L

Good idea, Laura, thanks. Well definitely price out a bed and see if the family is interested. We also need to be careful – I dont want to offend them and tell them that their beds are junk.
