Where in the world is Erdenheim??
February 15th, 2007 by MikeDoes anyone still read this blog? We are thinking of starting it back up so we can share a little bit of our lives with our friends across the globe. Ok, so most of you are in Seattle, but we definitely have some friends in other countries now.
We moved in to our new house January 17. It’s located in Erdenheim but we were surprised to realize that even the locals don’t seem to know this area by name. We end up telling people we are between Chestnut Hill and Flourtown and then they can figure it out.
It’s been a struggle to get settled because we have so little furniture. The cats seem a bit puzzled that we have no furniture too but you can see Brow-Brow is content with a little sunshine.
We had our first major snow on Tuesday. I started shoveling the driveway but I gave up because the bottom layer was already getting hard. At least our driveway slopes down so we can just slide out to the street!

I have been checking this every once in a while. Glad to see you have this updated. I love your house and really enjoyed my dinner over the weekend.

What a beautiful house. Your wood floors are awesome. Better give Brow-Brow some furniture to scratch instead of the floor.
What chilly weather it looks like there. We’re just our usual Seattle rain here.

Your house is so cute! If it makes you feel any better (or maybe worse??), I have never heard of Erdenheim or Flourtown, and I don’t think I could find Chestnut Hill on a map to save my life.
Alicia, I can’t believe you’re already at 7 months! You look fantastic.
Mike, though you denied leaving a plaid shirt at our house, I still contend that it is yours and one of these days I’m going to send it to you. Even if it’s not, hey – free shirt!

Get Uncle Yimmy to help you – he can do all that work. Ask him about the time that he hit a pipe in our back yard while digging. It looks like a lot of work – good luck. We’ll be back this summer – save a few non-technical jobs for me. Love, Uncle Lankie
