Diapers Galore
May 23rd, 2007 by MikeSorry we haven’t posted in a while but Little Nora has been keeping us busy. She’s doing really well – meaning she’s filling 10-12 diapers a day. That may not sound like too many but in 3 days we are just about out of our cloth diapers. Sometimes Alicia sets the diapers out to air dry the last bit.
Of course you keen readers will remember the bath/LAUNDRY project. Oh yeah, we don’t have a washer and dryer hooked up because I’ve been working on that room! I was able to use a few days during my paternity time off to finish the drywall so I’m making progress.
And this past week I finished painting. Since the next project is to tile the floor, I’m waiting until the weekend to start. In the meantime, I slid the washer and dryer back in so Alicia can do some laundry.
Ceiling looks nice too but it’s difficult to photo. The cable is for recessed lights in the cabinets to be installed above the sink.
The mountain bike race season is now underway. I raced at French Creek state park and placed 13 out of 26 in Expert Veteran Class (35-39yrs) Boy, do I sound old or what…and some of those old guys are really fast!
Last Sunday, I raced in Delaware on the DuPont private estate. Every year they let the race series use their land for a big race. Close to 600 racers in all! My results were similar, but it wasn’t a good race for me. I think the lack of sleep and being tired from painting was keeping me down. You can see all the races I’m considering this season on my website.
And, the post wouldn’t be complete without a few more pictures of beautiful Nora.
