West Coast Christmas

January 9th, 2008 by Mike

Yep, we went ‘home’ for the holidays to Seattle. Thanks to Pete and Michele, Grandma Sherry and the Lintz’s for hosting us. Thanks also to Mark and Mari for hosting the whole clan on Christmas Eve!

Nora spent a lot of time showing off her latest trick, lifting her body off the ground! You’d think if she could do this she can crawl, but she hasn’t figured it out yet. People tell us this is a good thing.

We actually had a white Christmas at Grandma’s house on Bainbridge Island. Ok, so that is a bit of a stretch since the snow didn’t stick to the ground but it sure was coming down!

Aunt Laura and Aunt Colleen were there too and got to try their hands at entertaining Nora.

I think Colleen has the right idea!

The next day, Jon, Linda, Megan, Ellie and Annika came over. The girls are not shy with cousin Nora.

And they are not too shy with Uncle Mike either, provided you let them win the pig-pile!

But, at the end of it all, it was nice to return to our real home, back in PA. We rung in the New Year by celebrating Christmas with the Rogers at our house. I can’t believe another year has come and gone. Then again, we have had quite a few changes: new house, new baby, new jobs – whew!

Happy New Year!

Happy belated holidays Mike and Family. Next time you get out this way, we would love to meet the family and talk about the old days. Mike email me if you could, I would like to know more about this blogging stuff for our website. Thanks buddy!!

    South of here,
