Winter Wonder
January 23rd, 2009 by AliciaNora is my wonder. It’s amazing to me that life with her just gets better and better. I mean that she’s learning so much and developing a cute little personality! I’m completely in awe. I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be with children.
Nora’s latest development is more and more words. She’s forming short sentences and is really able to tell me what she wants, or doesn’t want! She’s remembering people and their names. Sometimes she’s using “I”, like “I want that.” Mostly she’s still calling herself Dora…”Dora carry,” “Dora read,” “Dora bath.” In addition to talking, she’s manipulating many things… door handles, zippers, light switches, shoes, and most of all Mom and Dad!
Here are the most recent pics…
Out for a walk
It’s a little dry in our house. It might be time for a humidifier! Is she really posing?
Mastering her puzzle – which she figured out by herself! And she can name almost all the pieces. Am I bragging?
Fun with Dad. Yes, those are golf tees.
Getting into trouble! She pulled up a chair and got to the sugar dish. I only came into the kitchen because I heard the glass.
More trouble… I was on the computer so she helped herself to a wine glass to hold her goldfish! This time I looked because I heard the little “ting” when the goldfish were landing in the glass.
Thank you for looking at our pics. Sorry this has been Nora Central. Next post we’ll talk about our new car search!

Koby’s favorite thing to drink from is anything that we’re drinking from. Fortunately he has learned that my coffee is off limits!! See you soon!
