Getting Ready

January 30th, 2009 by Alicia

We’re in the middle of a search for a new car. We’ve decided that we want a Ford Fusion. We’re hoping for a 2007 or 2008. Still pretty new, but a lot cheaper. We’ve decided on the trim package and other details. One detail is air conditioning. I didn’t need it in Seattle, but it’s good to have here in PA. Last summer Nora was sort of blown away with all the windows open driving down the 309 expressway! So we just need to find the Fusion for us. This weekend we’re driving to a dealer in New Jersey. We’re not in any rush. We have until at least May to find one. Here’s a picture of a Fusion.

We chose the Fusion because it’s a sedan that has plenty of leg room, decent gas mileage, a nice look, and room for two carseats! That’s right, two carseats. We’re having another baby in June. Well, probably June, unless it’s like Nora and arrives super early! Here’s a picture from the ultrasound this week. We didn’t find out if it’s a boy or a girl. We’ll be surprised when the baby comes. And Nora sure will be surprised!
