Jankers

Ok, so we were unnecessarily worried yesterday. Levi’s bilirubin was 18.4. Previously the pediatrician was really worried when it was 16.6, so obviously we were freaking out at 18. Well, I guess the high numbers are only really dangerous earlier on because it’s known the number goes up until day 4 or 5. Since Levi is eating, pooping and peeing just fine, the number should only go down from now. We had another test today and it came out at 18.0 and the pediatrician said she’s not worried and we’ll see her again next friday.

So as long as his nursing behavior doesn’t change, we actually are out of the woods. That feels like a HUGE sigh of relief for us! Thank you God!
