I am forever amazed by how life just continues on! I am finally feeling back to normal after having Levi. We had a busy August, with our vacation and then out of town guests and then having our floors redone. My wrist is miraculously healed, after a cortisone injection. My August angst is history. I thought that things would slow down for September. But, no! I just came up with more to do! My current projects are getting Levi to take a bottle (which is a full time job), Farmville on facebook, and trying to organize baby books, photo albums, and clothes for the children. They just keep growing out of clothes! I can’t keep up! And I’m thinking about Halloween costumes and planning our Seattle trip for Christmas.

Here are the real updates…

Levi was baptized on August 12th at our church. Mike’s brother Mark and our sister-in-law Mari are his godparents. They spent a few days with us, both helping us and getting to know Nora and Levi.

One of the highlights was trip to the Adventure Aquarium. I have a friend that I’ve know since elementary school, Jeff, that works with the seals there. He gave us a behind the scenes look at the seals and at one of the big shark tanks. Nora and her cousin KD both got to pet a seal. KD got to handfeed fish to the seal. It was pretty cool! And the shark tank was sort of crazy. We got to stand at the top of the giant tank. I was holding Levi and kept thinking, “I hope I don’t trip and drop him in the tank!” That poor little guy bobbing in the water with the sharks! Who would have been first to jump in?! When I get the pictures from Mari, I’ll post them.

We recently had our floors in our entryway and kitchen redone. It was a huge job, so my parents let us stay with them for four days. It was a mini-vacation! My Mom and I took Nora and Levi to a local church that has a great climbing gym for the children. Nora was afraid at first, but then befriended some older children that took her to the top!

Sorry, but I have to cut this post short, because it’s taking me so long!! There’s a new editing program that I haven’t quite figured out yet (hence the repeat picture below). Below is a “photo gallery”. It has many more features than we had before, but this is really basic. Eventually you’ll be really impressed with the improvements and what we can do (I hope)! The bottom three pictures are Levi from a few weeks ago.
