Day by Day

October 12th, 2009 by Alicia

It’s been a busy month. I went back to work at the end of September. This was a challenge, because Levi was refusing the bottle. So it took many short trips to work to finish. It was tough for me and Mike. Thankfully, we’ve gotten past that. Now Levi is a pro with the bottle. He’s growing quickly. His biggest milestones this past month are reaching for things and actually enjoying toys. He smiles so much more than Nora did when she was a baby. He really seems to enjoy anything social. He likes it when I’m talking to people while I’m holding him. He smiles like he’s in the conversation. And he loves when people talk to him!

Nora’s had exciting changes this month. She started nursery school and Sunday school. She’s really loving them both. Her nursery school class has 7 girls and 3 boys. Mike’s been dropping her off on his way to work, and I pick her up. She colors and plays and sings and snacks. On Sundays Mike takes Nora and stays with her. It’s a class for parents and children. I haven’t gone yet, but I’m looking forward to it now that Levi will take a bottle!
