Jankers

Levi is now 7 months old. At 6 months, we introduced rice cereal and since then we’ve introduced a handful of other foods: bananas, pears, avacado, sweet potato, prunes. He seems to like everything but he still hasn’t mastered opening his mouth so feeding him becomes a messy job!

We enjoyed a wonderful trip to the NW for the holidays. Our first stop was our friends Chuck and Carrie’s. Nora was really excited to hang out with Daniel, Jacob and especially Rylie.

Next we bundled up and took a ferry over to Grandma’s on Bainbridge. We absolutely LOVED the Ivars Fish and Chips even though Alicia spilled most of a bowl of chowder on her coat.

The next morning we took a walk to the beach.

The next day we visited our favorite park on the Island, Battleground. We all had a blast.

Christmas Eve we headed to Uncle Mark’s and Aunt Mari’s for our traditional Christmas eve gathering.

Of course opening presents was a hoot.

We were fortunate to have uneventful flights. Alicia did a great job holding Levi for nearly the entire 11 hours. In my opinion, the hardest part was accomodating Nora as she attempted to sleep… feet in Alicia’s lap and head in mine!
